Hello everyone,
I believe it's possible, especially since I don't care to rattle my car apart :schwing:, to have an awesome sound system with deep and full enough bass to not require a sub. I'm looking for a system to make alternative rock and country have a good full sound and with enough bass to satisfy my occasional hip-hop moods. I will of course get a new HU and an amp to power the speakers, hopefully a HU along the lines of the Alpine INE-W927HD and I have no idea what amp (probably depends on the speakers chosen) and speakers, which is where y'all come in. Since I won't be getting a sub, I don't mind spending a little more on the door speakers, but I don't want to spend too much. Hopefully I'll be able to find that HU for about $900 and then maybe $400 or so for an amp and speakers. :help:
Reasons I don't want the sub include, but are not limited to; I don't want a sub under either front seats and I don't want to give up a square inch of trunk space.
