So my BT was kinda finicky at first but it works fine now(i think, havent tried it for a while). I dont know if it just took some time but i turned my BT off on my iphone and connected it back up in a few days and everything seems to work. Calls, music, GPS and so on.

Not sure what you can try but to just turn off your BT and let it reconnect again.

If i remember correctly, it does turn off the radio audio and connects to the phones BT when it has to speak for the navi, every time. I will try again and let you know for sure whats going on with the BT.

 

Welcome, looks nice! My 15 was the first stick I drove regularly since high school, so had been almost 20 years. All I can say is like everything, practice makes perfect and I still sometimes have issues with 1 to 2.

I'm getting the windows tinted this weekend. I'm also planning on getting upgraded speakers, because the default ones are just okay. I'll probably wait until the factory warranty period is over (60k miles) to do any mods... Looks like I have plenty of time to catch up with the mod posts on this forum!

 

Thanks for the warm welcome! I may just end up using Flexsmart X3 mini (bluetooth radio transmitter) that I've been using with my old car. It has an option to go bluetooth->aux port instead of bluetooth->radio, so at least the sound quality will be better compared to my older car

My Bluetooth was also finikey... the only way I could get it working was to use the voice commands to set it up rather than using the menus.
