A reason why you went 9.5 instead of 8- 8.5?
Great build by the way..

Thanks man, I haven't done much lately to the WRX as it is spring clean up around the house. I prefer to have the best looking lawn/ yard in the neighborhood so that currently has all my focus. Lame I know but in the mean time I still have my plans for the WRX.

Haha nothing wrong with that. I'm sure your neighbors appreciate that you take care of it. My front looks great, but the back needs some work lol. I ordered the AEM intake and will be hopefully getting the V3 pretty soon. My plan is to get the AP, AEM, and Torqued Performance tune installed all at once.

So I haven't done much lately. I picked up a used Cobb Air Box that I will be installing as soon as the DEI reflect-a-gold tape comes in. Trying to keep the heat soak down.

On Saturday night I was cruising in a group of approximately 100 cars. Some how I got single out for having a modified exhaust and tinted tail lights. So my project of the day was to remove the black/ smoke looked and re spray them a more appropriate color.

This was after removing the VHT Night Shade Black

I think it looks good and I wish I would have done this in the first place or that Subaru would make them like this from the factory.

This weekend I decided to complete a few tasks. A couple of the tasks I have been putting off for quite awhile.

1) Painting the headlights to get rid of the chrome.

I opted to keep the headlight dome chrome so I don't loose visibility

2) The next task was installing the Seibon Carbon Fiber Fenders

The install was a bit of a pain in the a**. I wish Seibon wouldn't have drilled any of the holes. Big thanks to my buddy Larry for helping me. Over all the look is amazing.

4) Grimmspeed plate relocator

5) Turbosmart Kompact Plumb BPV.

This was a super easy install and sounds amazing. My stock BPV was just starting to leak and sounded like a wild banshee when I was under boost.

That's all the tasking I had this weekend, more to follow later.

I used krylon for plastic, in satin for the housing, Dupli-Color Metalcast shadow for the turn signal housing. There is a write up on NASOIC by Overland04 that's the one I followed.

Today's I sweet talked my wife into letting me purchase a Cobb Short Shifter while we were at the dealership getting her a new Subaru shirt. The install was not too bad minus re installing the c-clip. That by far took 85% of the time. So far I absolutely LOVE the short shifter.

Currently I have it maxed out to the lowest and wouldn't change it.

So a few new things went on the car lately.

1) JPM Coachworks Leather with red stitching Shift boot and E-brake boot. I believe they look alot better than the OEM ones.

2) Turbosmart universal boost gauge and mounting cup. The install was pretty simple and easy.

Finally got the car all cleaned up for a huge meet me had here in Colorado.
