I mean, K series is one of the best 4 cylinders out there, but that is a LOT of weight to hang in front of the axle.

 

EJ25 is 400ish, K24 is like 415. It’s not much more weight than OE motor, it’s just a little higher up which is easier to deal with

An inline 4 cylinder in a longitudinal arrangement as you are installing puts the weight much further in front of the axle compared to the flat 4. The polar moment will be significantly increased. The car will be very nose heavy.

 

Well I mean yeah, I did a lot of research on what was going to happen when I did this, doesn’t bother me a whole lot

 

That's fun. Finding a hood to fit may be a challenge.

 

For SCCA they don’t mind the engine poking out but ARA does so eventually I’ll have to make a custom like cowel that covers the valve cover

 

The VB sounds like a slightly worse version of a Honda, so I thought maybe the post was going to be about a 2022 with an AWE exhaust......

STIFF front springs will take you only so far but, I’m thinking it’ll pitch like a bitch on steroids.

 

I was thinking that since you’ve gone the motor route, why not go RWD and move motor/tranny back? Say….. MIDMOTOR nightmare for the unawares…….. 😂

 

AWD is superior on gravel since this car is an SCCA car and will be a NASA/ARA car!
