Coolant/Intake problem

I need help diagnosing this issue,

Last month my stock radiator blew up and I drove it home for about 10-15 minutes the hottest it reached was 235... Now I replaced it right away with a CSF OE Radiator and replaced the thermostat. Now the car runs hotter as in at idle it reaches to 205 but the fans kicks on and knock it down to 195 same goes with the intake it runs about 20-30 above ambient temp before none of this was happening, it never got past 195 & the intake temp never got over 15 above ambient. I am thinking could it be the radiator not able to keep the car cool enough?

This, 100%.

But also, I'm not quite sure I understand your problem. If the car is idling for an extended period of time, the fans should kick on. That's normal.

From my experience, with a 180deg thermostat (standard), a peak idle temperature of 205deg is also quite normal.

Regarding the intake temperature... this is generally uncorrelated to ECT.

205f is normal it will get up there. Also check for bubbles on the plastic clear coolant overflow reservoir and if you see bubbles while it's idling then it could be that the head gasket has been breached. Sometimes you have to get into boost and then check for bubbles while it's idling.

I don't think it's HG, I've always checked the reservoir after driving long periods of time or after a WOT while letting the car cool off... I don't do any of that. Before I could hit peak boost at 17+ now it barely wants to reach 16 which is also wierd to me now.

Pressure requirements for rad cap? If your cap is not the right pressure coolant won't flow properly. Atleast that's what I found out with my 2011 wrx. The turbo coolant reservoir is a different psi than your rad cap. I don't know if this helps. Also could have air in the system which will need to be "burped"
