Well I have had a crazy, busy, and good weekend! Got the car back on this past Thursday morning, had to leave around 8am Friday morning for Carlisle import nationals. So, me and my son spent abour 4-5 hours thursday night getting the car cleaned up and ready for the show. The STi brought home the 1st place trophy for STi's!!! I was super pumped for that!

Now what you all want to know, so Bespokes dyno is considered a "heartbreaker" dyno. On their dyno is made 671whp, with the 10% correction making it 742whp! Remember, prior to the most recent parts being installed (intake manifold, big bore throttle body, intake) it made 710whp after the 10% correction. So that's a 32whp increase with the same amount of boost (40 psi on E85). The impressive part was the jump in torque these mods produced. I cannot remember the exact number off of the top of my head. Numbers dont really mean as much to me though, drivability does. And my tuner knocked it out of the park. This thing drives almost like stock on the streets and when you get into the throttle...... oh boy. I didnt think that 32whp increase would be so noticeable....... But this car is spicy. All the way to the 7800rpm redline. She is a different beast now.

I will post the dyno sheet up tonight when I get home or tomorrow. The paper has the numbers on it before the correction. I will have it up soon!
671whp or 742whp (regardless) is no joke. Looking forward to seeing your curves, though ;)

Hopefully they can do an overlay of before/after for you, or you at least have a previous run that you can post for comparison...

Hey Matty! Thanks for stopping by! I will post up the dyno sheet from this run tonight when I get home. Ill email my tuner and see if he can do an overlay for me. I recently looked for my last dyno sheet from the previous tune in my email. Last time I couldnt find it. I will look again, at least do a side by side comparison. But my curves will be up later for your eyes to gander at!

Here is the dyne sheet! I was wrong, thought they said 671, it's actually 663 on the chart, take the 10% correction to 726whp! Had the car out today for lunch, it is stupid how fast this thing is haha.

Here are some pics of the 1st place the car brought home from Carlisle. Couldn't have made it happen without my son. He has been my number 1 fan of this car. He is almost 16 and is finally getting into cars and helping me wrench on them. He thinks he will get to take the STi out when he gets his license! LOL, not gonna happen hahaha.

Peak torque in the 4200-4500 RPM range depending on pump / E (y)

Congrats!

Well bad news! A few days ago I decided to take the STi to work. I left work around 10PM and was driving down the local 2 lane highway on the way home. The posted speed limit is 55 mph, I was going about 60 +/- a few. Not sure if it was a possum or a racoon that ran out in front of me, but there was nothing I could do. Smacked it hard on the front drivers corner of the front bumper. Popped both of the bumper vents on both sides off, they are gone, and broke my front lip in half. Upon further inspection, it also cracked my drivers side fender line/mud guard in half. I already bought all the pieces from subaru to fix this as well as a new front lip. But the front of the car is torn apart for now. I will now just end up replacing the passenger side front fender liner soon too. They were both pretty chewed up.

Figures, just after everything was finished.
Yeah just my luck. No worries though. Put the new fender liner in on the drivers side today. Ordered the passenger side fender liner. New lip comes Tuesday. So, by Next weekend she will be all back together and good as new. Could have been way worse!

The new front lip came today for the STI, as well as the front bumper vent for the passenger side. Collectively, I can get the front bumper back together and on. I replaced the drivers side fender liner with a new one. Feels much better to have a new liner that isn't chewed up and falling apart. Passenger side one was just as bad, the new one for that side will be in tomorrow. So now my entire front end has been like refreshed. I do love that subaru still makes replacement oem parts for all models. Makes it easy to replace with oem quality parts!

Hahaha you are as nuts as me. 🤙

So hey I thought about what you said - what would you say to me about next Friday night's (the 13th!,weather pending) car show where I mentioned. If you would want to meet up and whatnot - let me know lol. We can talk about.. I'm assuming a lot. I don't know exactly who you are, I'm very open on the Internet and I know that is... Abnormal lol. People think that it's because "I want attention to how smart I am" and it's... Yeah no man lol two things. One you'll meet me lol I am just not that smart. I'm human. The real reason why, is because of the work I've done with the Internet. When you're doing..higher level stuff you kinda.. realize how little it matters. Now two, yeah ok I don't have a social media presence or anything like that, nor am I .. stupid(or smart I could argue) enough to think that I should care about "WHAT THE INTERNET THINKS OF ME MAN!" or ""that's what they're saying on the internet!" 🧐. I just... Yeah I did realize the other night that a YouTube channel I watch (I do cars) has as many people subscribed as CNN had watching during 8pm. That was a wake up call that maybe this shit is here to stay but .. I'd see a lot of regulation coming first so kinda glad I'm not in it.

I make my personality rather apparent. I was just saying what I was because I don't want you to think that I'm.. I'm as cocky in real life as on here yes lol 🤣 but! I'm a lot different. I think! Would be a fun time - I don't meet many people that do cars.

Oh noes. It's a GR chassis. 🤣. The mod list looks identical we .. quite literally ran the same exact turbos I used apexi controls but. I am going to be honest with you lol because I'm me, it's real hard for me to "like a GR". I can't say that I ever have. It's why I stopped owning Subaru vehicles quite literally until 2022. However I do like the white and blue. I'm a pure white guy (literally lmfao 😅 🤣), and I'm pretty sure that is still paint code 02C not pbx. The dash is so weird I instantly went WTF your overheating in your second posts LMAO but it's the gas gauge.. the STI is weird with the center dccd shit I do prefer the GD STI cluster. But yeah man it's a nice build - now imagine doing 4 of them in 6 years lmfao 😂 🤣 👍 I'd love to take a look at it. I had no idea you were in Carlisle - I can also come to better car shows if you have any!

So far there's no hard dates for autox at North Park - so a show seems like the best option unless you have something out there that I don't know about.

@WRX-maniac Bubs, yes I'm a father technically speaking also of a 15 year old son. I don't obviously talk about it because psychology but.. yeah no most people that know of me.. don't even know that part. Long ass story obviously it wasn't necessarily my decision. It was to not get the courts involved and right wrong or indifferent I wouldn't stick my kid through that and I wouldn't change it.

Obviously you can figure out why I don't talk about it but I'm assuming you should probably know that given your kid, any questions I'm more than happy to answer I just don't exactly want people to think oh pity that guy.

Sad day today, as I have decided to list the STI for sale..... We will see if it sells or not. But I am trying to clear up some finances and pay off some stuff. Then plan on another new project car in the near future. Not decided what it will be. Nothing is set in stone now, as a car like mine will take a special buyer. If anyone who follows me and this build is interested, shoot me a PM. Ill keep this updated if it sells or not. Cheers.

That car should stay in your family.
