I guess it still makes sense, ARA rules haven't changed much YoY so the same engine is competitive. And subaru doesn't treat ARA as a proving ground for new engine tech so no factory backed racing engine for this.

The new NBR car uses a modified FA24 with single scroll for 380hp/590Nm but it's got a 39mm restrictor against ARA's 30mm. Hopefully they will sell the NBR's beefier front control arms and 6pot brakes as an option for VB.
