Hey guys, I’ve got a couple (a thousand) questions regarding how and what is involved in swapping a 2.5RS for a 2.0 turbo from a WRX. I got the mechanical aspect down already. I’ve removed and installed my n/a 2.5 a few times. The main thing I want to know is regarding the ECU. Between the RS and the WRX, are there any differences between their ECUs, are they CANBUS, are they directly related to the body control module, any advice on ECUs regarding WRX swaps, should I just get a standalone ECU? Any advice would be great.
