So I am returning my wrx back to stock and trading it for an STi in about a week. I currently have the Grimmspeed ebcs on the wrx. I have the stock solenoid and plan on installing it and removing the grimmspeed one obviously. My question is can I use the vacuum lines that are currently attached to the grimmspeed ebc? I'm guessing IAG threw away my old line from the stock solenoid as they are not attached to it. I know that the stock lines have a restrictor pill right? And that restrictor pill is removed when installing the grimmspeed unit.

Can I run the stock solenoid without the restrictor part of the vacuum line?

Is that part of hose with the restrictor pill sold separately at a dealership or parts store?

Please help, trying to get this thing back to stock and this is the only thing holding me up!

Ok, so I did some research and answered a couple questions on my own, but it lead to a few more that I absolutely cannot figure out.

So my car will need to have the restrictor pill put back in the hose in order build boost adequately.
Ok, so the hose that came with the grimmspeed ebcs, can I resuse it? Is the hose diameter the same as stock? I believe the hose is 1/8 inch from grimmspeed. Is the stock hose the same size? Does it matter?

Last question, what size is my restrictor pill!!?? I have found them to buy, but sizes vary from 0.5mm to 1.0mm. I cant find anything online that goes higher than 06-07MY to tell me what size I need. Any help is appreciated here!!!!

Ok so im confused. Refer to the picture in the link below. The section 14447 is the hose and T section. The right (turbo side) of that T is where the restrictor pill is suppose to go. This diagram is 09-14 specific. There is no restrictor pill in the image or offered to buy in the parts list below.

Compared to the lets see the 2007 wrx diagram for the same area. It physically shows the restrictor pill in the diagram with the part number of 22326AA260. According to Subaru, they refer to this part as "Orifice-A".

I don't get it, does my car not come stock with a restrictor pill then??? Per Grimmspeeds instructions it specifically states to "remove the factory restrictor pill".

I am beyond lost.......??????
