Whats up guys...heres my problem hopefully someone can help me with it.

I've installed rear and front sway bars and strut bars. Lately everytime i hit a bump or dip in the road, or in other words any time the suspenion has pressure on it, i hear a very disturbing noise...its so hard to explain but it sounds as if my springs were rusted or if something was bending? could this be because i have stock springs with the struts? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ITS DRIVING ME F%CKING CRAZY!

I really don't have any experience with these parts yet, but since you put this up yesterday and no one has answered yet, I think I remember hearing some people having similar problems like this before, and I think it was because the sway bars were not properly greased before install. Again I don't know if this is correct or not but since you havnt gotten any responses yet I just figured I'd throw it out there. Goodluck with it.

Could also be because there was no pressure on suspention when you tightenned the endlinks to swaybar... The cars weight has to be on the tires when tightening those two nuts. The strut bar should not cause any noise problem at all.

I get a lot of creaking that sounds like it is comming from from where the front strut bar connects in the engine area. It makes a lot of creaking sounds when Im turning the wheel while not moving that much, like when parking. Is it possible that the creaking sounds are comming from the front strut bar? It is definately comming from that area. What else could it be?

I think I might have this too.I have a 04 STI with 29,100 miles. I get a weird popping kind of sound when Im turning while not rolling that much, like getting out of a parking spot. It seems to come and go though. I also get a lot of creaking that sounds like its coming from my front strut bar, it seems to be getting worse.

How could I fix that? Could the popping sound be from the strut bar? It sounds like its coming from that area, or maybe the front axle. Im really close to the big 30,000 mile maintenance, other than the sounds the car drives fine. Would I be ok to just wait till I hit 30,000, is it possible to get it done early?

so when i do get the front and rear strut braces put on i should ask the isntaller if hes heared about this situation? and tell him to lube the parts before the install?? i was considering front and rear cusco braces soon ..i just wanna know what to tell the installer to do to combat this?

Which bars did you get? Whatever the make, they are best installed with a load as mentioned above. Some bars have bushings with grease fittings (I have the Hotchkis shown below) need a shot of grease every so often. The bars could be walking on you as well. This happened to me recently: http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/showthread.php?t=153915
