^^ 💯

+ Tires.
And remember to stretch em a bit if you can, the stock tires match the wheel width a bit much which requires a hard sidewall tire, if you stretch smaller tires it'll.. well Google it cause I don't want to explain it LMAO. Basically it's less sloppy.. but also more touchy and fast on breakaway characteristics. Also properly heat cycle them and store em..I see people complain about tires not lasting but that's either.. driving habits or using the wrong compounds like if you drive a summer tire in the winter - for the rest of its life you have compromised how fast it's going to wear amongst others less important. So temperature changes will result in more wear even once they warm up for summer.

Hey everyone,

I recently picked up a 2021 WRX and I am loving it so far !! I use it as my daily driver but I am looking to enhance its performance and appearance without sacrificing reliability or comfort. I am relatively new to modding.., so I would appreciate some advice from seasoned WRX owners here.

What are some beginner-friendly performance mods that won’t void the warranty: ??
Any recommendations for suspension upgrades that improve handling but still keep the ride comfortable for daily use: ??
I would like to do some cosmetic upgrades too thinking of wheels, subtle aero, or maybe new headlights. What brands or styles work best on a WRX without looking over the top: ??
Lastly.., I am open to tips on maintenance and care to keep the car running great with these upgrades.

I have also read this thread https://www.clubwrx.net/threads/daily-driver-mods-qlik-sense.134352402/ but still looking for more tips and advice.

Thanks in advance for your help !!

Excited to hear your thoughts and learn from the community.

With Regards,
Daniel Jose

^ First thing I changed. Also added one of their weighted shift knobs. Big difference over the STI short throw mine had.
That's gonna be a personal preference deal however and I could even go as far as saying that if .. someone doesn't know what they're doing (such as they rest their hand on it or something stupid) it's.. obviously gonna be worse than if it's a longer throw.. I don't really believe that it effects shifting speed enough to mention it as.. a "best mod".. I like em but I know plenty of people who hate em.

Good points Jason.I did it just for the feel. I prefer a tight gate.
I personally do also, it's just literally man I'm VERY.. okay so my personality is.. just look at my former posts. Lmao. If I have something to say - you're gonna hear it. 🤣

But ya I have become* (this is new), VERY judicious with what I answer people with on this forum because.. as you are well aware people just.. buy cars and don't understand em. So that has led to (and check this if you don't believe me haha), me intentionally not saying QUITE a bit of.. "information" that.. sure people know but don't understand. Those are two separate words, I know MUCH more than I actually understand. And I'm pretty sure that would be a universal statement being a faulted human being - I'm not anything special lol I just read books and not the internet.. that. In itself actually sadly makes me somewhat unique in this day and age.
