what exactly do you mean by "initialization connector"? Do you mean the cable used to connect the AP to the OBDII port?

The AP is supposed to come with a cable to connect the AP to the OBDII port, and another cable (serial cable) to connect the AP to your PC for map management. If you're missing one of them, call cobb.

 

no i have those 2. in the instructions, it says to plug the two test plugs together, and then it says that you are to " use the supplied initialization connector, and attach it to the complementary whitish factory connector located in close proximity to the green test mode connectors. "

yes you need the flash jumper....a molested paper clip will work as well. Look at the connector as the key being the top, jump the left top terminal to the left bottom terminal, & same for the right side.
