some tires are wide for a 225 like the azenis.

dont mean to hijack, but 17x8 can fit a 245/40 right? and will that fit on the wrx without having to roll the fenders?

 

thanks for the responses, but i called subydude and changed the order to 17x7.5 gunmetal grids with the 225/45/17. will post pics when i get the wheels.

The tires will fit, but the rubbing or not will depend on the actual tires (some are wider than others), your suspension, and the alignment.

if your stock it shouldnt be a problem at all. 245 is a good size for 8in wheel.

 

Would 235/45/17s rub on a WRX sedan with H-Techs (Lowers 1.8 inches front and 0.7 inches in rear) on stock fenders that haven't been rolled?

 

I have 17x8 volks with 225/45 azenis.

 

Out of curiosity, how much are you paying for the wheels? and wheels/tires?
