Those huge STI wings make a car look old and dated IMO, modern supercars don't use things like that and the technology of airflow control is much different now.
Yeah, same. Although, I really like them on the STI. Even so, I still got rid of it on my old STI. I got tired of the attention it drew. I also felt silly pulling up to adult functions, but that's just me.

I remember having my WRB 2015 STI pulling up to a wedding where a lot of people were walking on and standing out front. All adults. It was during the two months where I had wide flush wheels and the car was lowered. Loud Corsa Extreme exhaust. I turned into a parking lot with a steep incline and audibly scraped in front of everyone. I got a lot of weird looks. In addition to mostly other reasons, I took all that shit off. On top of that, I trunk swapped my next SWP STI within a year.

Most of the playful jokes went away, and I got a lot more compliments came from adults. Most of the people/friends who still liked to poke fun at it were people I considered idiots, anyway. I just don't think they had anything else to say...

The car aged well and just looked like a kickass sports sedan. Although I also liked the wing, it was crazy how sleek the car instantly looked with such an easy, quick, and cheap change. I loved the look on other STI's, but it just wasn't for me, anymore.

I think it's a sin to remove the spoiler on a WRB STI. It's an icon. Removing the wing was much more fitting on my white one, for some reason. I couldn't picture it with the WRB. It would have looked weird with WRB, which I honestly wish was a color reserved specifically for the STI.
