ummm can you powdercoat rotors? I mean wouldnt it just wear off after you drive a few miles. Once the calipers off they will pretty much come right off though. You may have to bang on em a lil to get them loose from the hub

 

You usually need to beat on them a bit, and make shure to release the hand brake to get the rear ones off.

 

If your rotors are really stubborn to take off, use two hex head bolts to remove them. 8mm standard pitch thread bolts about 1.5'' in length are the size you'll need. I recommend buying these anyway, because you will need them at some point in the future if you will ever want to take your rotors off again.

 

k thanks....also FWIW im painting everything except where the brake pad touches....that will get masked off. but of course everything will be sand blasted first.
