Purchased Wheels from Fitment Industries - C/C- Experience

Not surprised. I had a similar experience ordering my Avid wheels from same company.

They were great with the ordering process, but when I realized Avid was on west coast, I decided it was dumb to have them shipped to Wisconsin? to mount tires and then shipped to me in Cali, so I changed my order to just wheels, which got dropped shipped to me quickly.

Pretty good experience up to this point. But Avid wheels aren’t highest quality on a good day (entry level wheel with slight imperfections). I knew this. The problem was the drop ship with bad packaging and one of my wheels showed up with scratches that looked similar to curb rash, but they hadn’t been mounted yet.

They offered me discount to keep the damaged wheel (um, no), or return and wait for replacement, but I asked for discount on new one to ship asap, and told them I would decide if I keep the damaged one as spare after I saw the new one. They were clear the damaged one had to be returned back to them within 30 days, and NOT MOUNTED in order for me to get full refund.

Long story, but I think their customer service was acceptable, but Avid drop ship is high risk. Anyone ordering should consider asking if the rims are in stock at their facility for inspection before it ships out. If anyone has purchased non-avid from them, let us know.
