2004 WRX with VF 34
I've had my car tuned remotely via opensource by a popular tuner. It runs great. But I've always thought the car was sluggish off the line when letting out the clutch in first gear. It's like at 800-1500rpm you have to floor it when going up a little hill and letting out the clutch. I've looked at my tunes but have a hard time finding what load I'm at at that low of rpm but it looks like to me the timing is set really low at -2 to about 4 degrees.
It's has to be low when at WOT and 1000rpm but I thought that was a little too retarded. I was thinking more like 8 to 15 degrees but I don't like messing with timing.
My other cars that are tuned run like 8 to 15 degrees off idle when at WOT
What do you think? Thanks for the help
