Guess I can get back into this thread with the new(ish) car.

2003 WRX wagon, Platinum Silver Metallic.

Relocated AUX input

Car is on stock suspension for now. Exterior is stock except for the STi scoop and the 20% tint on the rear windows.

Can't wait for next year to start doing stuff to it.

obx fuel rails

so i am new to the wrx tuning world and i jus got done boring my block and gettin some head work done but my biggest question is i ordered the obx fuel rails and noticed they dont have return lines and was wondering if i need anyting else to install them or will they just work fine as a direct bolt on? :confused::sadwave::confused:

Quick Question

I am quite an avid WRX fan and starting to learn about cars in greater extent. I currently own a 2004 Subaru outback and sadly a WRX is out of the question for some years :( but I was wondering first what the big differences between the EJ255 and the EJ251 is? I was asking because I wanted to possibly start on making my outback STI spec. like the forester in my neighborhood.

EJ255 is not an STI motor. The only thing similar about them is layout and displacement.

downpipe and stage 2 accessport

i installed my perrin downpipe today while at work, (if you have access to a lift just do it yourself don't pay someone else, it's not so bad) i set accessport to stage 2 it runs awesome, stock was 13.5 or so now its 18lbs.

The 5,500 RPM LC won't bode well for his transmission either.

B/c of the 20g?

I'm guessing with only 650cc's... he's not running the 20G to full potential... if he has the 10% headroom that injectors should have... then I really doubt that the 20G will be flowing enough to destroy that block.

Just one man's opinion.

No, the 8,000 RPM redline on a stock engine and oiling system is what I really had in mind. He needs to reduce that back to stock, maybe 7,200 tops.

Cams, pistons, rods should be changed for such a high redline if I'm not mistaken... correct?
