Boost gauge installation?

Hi, I been reading some articles ,but still not sure where to put the "T", especially if you have two of them to put (boost gauge and boost controller),
Well some articles said to put the "T" before BOV (the hose on top of bov), but the diagram on boost controller said to put it just after the throttle?? Which one is the correct one though?
Another question is, the stock solenoid (ej20t), there is one hose connected to the intake pipe, since i had new solenoid (blitz dual sbc), what do i do with those hose?
Thanks for answer >_<

Thanks, i understands the boost gauge part, but for BC, goes to the hose after the throttle -_-''??? But isn't the pressure going to be unequal some how?
I had mine in different places now, and the boost pressure shown on boost controller and boost gauge arn't the same though, hugh different, peak on boost gauge is 1.2,while bc shown only 1.03 -_-''

Also you have to take in consideration the calibration/quality of the gauges.Which one is right?Alot of people have had issues with Autometer mechanical boost gauges.I personally like using the electronic boost gauges.I currently use all Omori electronic gauges and compare my boost gauge with the boost meter in the Cobb AP.Pretty close to each other. The AP uses the stock MAP sensor.

I got the cheap autometer one, which seems to work well. I read the map details and the Cobb stage 2 and the autometer hits all the right spots.

As far as the question goes...Measure about 8cm from the BOV, cut the hose, insert the biggest T fitting you can (the one the cames with the autometer gauge is too small, autozone has a good selection) and make sure to test for leaks. Should be a simple install

Then use small zip ties to hold the vaccum lines on the T fitting.

I'm using Defi STi Genome Boost gauge at the moment,
I think it works fine, there is also the controller unit which is located on the right side of the engine (looking from behind), but the bov is far left right next to the intercooler,
Is that a little too far? It should be about 3 feets though,
Well when i'm installing the vacuum line for the dual solenoid, it said "caution: vacuum line should not be more than 3 feet or boost spike, etc may occur" -_-'', which make me paranoid...any suggestions?
