i was pleasantly surprised that my local advanceauto carried the one step colder ngk bkr7e plugs. i read a lot on which set of plugs to get, and the general opinion seemed to be to go with colder coppers, the BKR7E. i was under the impression that these came pregapped at .028, but the guy behind the counter told me that the computer had it listed as .044. so my question is, what is the pregap on BKR7E's and are they all pregapped the same?

note: i bought the BKR7E NOT the "-11" which i know are gapped .040

just verify tha gap before installation....all BKR7E should be BKR7E...I believe they are gapped at .030 but not 100% sure...I've got a new box of them out in the garage I'd have to check...

Yeah, I think the BKR7E's are pre-gapped at either .030 or .032. I've changed sets a TON of times (because they're copper) and I've always had to narrow the gap a tad to get it to .028.
