2022 VB WRX w/ Harman Kardon Specs?

I just installed a kicker cxa800 amp and two 12” subs in my son’s 2023 wrx today. The amp has a hi/lo rca signal input built into it up to 400 watts input, so we tapped into the speaker wires going to the sub on the rear deck. We gained access to the sub by removing a push pin on both sides of the deck and one of the rear side panels needed popped off up by the window and it we pulled it right up just enough. Can’t say for everyone but for his car there were 4 wires going into the sub, red & darker blue are the positive, light blue and orangish color were negative. Also has some kind of auto on feature, not sure what it is exactly, but long story short there was no need for a remote wire. The amp turns on when it gets a signal and turns off after a minute or so of no signal. Just ran the ground, and for anyone having issues with how to run the positive, we took out the wheel liner and if you reach up you’ll feel an opening, on the inside of the car you can reach to that area and pull a rubber plug out, punch a hole in plug, then feed wire up through fire wall, out the hole in wheel well, and into engine bay. I have the same setup in my truck for 2years now with no issues. I’m also neither a Subaru guy or a car a/v guy, I just know how to install amps, but hope this helps somebody.
Hey I have recently purchased a setup very similar to your son, I was just wondering how you connected the wires to the RCA input on the amp?
