Any little tips or tricks I should know before installing my downpipe? I am going to go with a 3" catless dp, maybe HKS?

I have a 3" cat less Invidia Dp with matched cat back, Just got a CEL from boost creep running WOT from second to third on the freeway.

Be advised, boost creep still an issue on the '08 WRX. If you are going to go cat less, you might consider porting your waste gate as well

I'm not positive, but you you probably got the CEL light as a result of the cat being eliminated. I hear you can read and delete codes with a COBB A-port. CEL lights suck if you have to get emissions done or take it back to the dealership for service.

Yeah, I pulled the code, they didn’t change from previous years models, I don’t remember the exact code but it was basically wastegate request out of range. The boost creep issue is well documented on NASIOC, in fact, Cobb has a great write up on the wastegate actuator and the whole Subaru boost control system.
