The biggest difference is 2.0L(02-05) vs. 2.5L(06 & 07). Also, 06 and 07 has no cat on the UP, so that's one less mod you need to do. Most would say if you can afford it, get the later model. In retrospect, the older models are still great cars, but you'll get more "bang for the buck" if you mod an 06/07 (e.g. stage II)
