So, today I went for a short drive before work (I now work evenings) and came across this oddly colored Subie with surgical implantations on the roof. As I got closer, I realized it was a Google Maps 'street view' car taking pics. Unfortunately, I could not get to my camera in time, but it looked exactly like this one:

So, the next time you are on maps.google doing a street view, you could be viewing from the tower of an Impreza

Haha thats pretty sick. No drive thrus for that guy though.

From images I found searching for that one, the tower does collapse....the last time I saw a google car they were using those ugly Ford Transit things....I was nicely surprised to see the Subie and the vinyl job was nice too.

What I really want to know is if he was still taking images...my WRX could be on Google Maps
