WRX vs STi Trailing Links (on wagon)

Hey! So I'm beginning a process of swapping STi suspension and track onto my 2002 wagon. I understand the work and the cost involved and am prepared to invest myself in this task. Anyways, so I'm finishing up with buying up the parts for the rear and I have a question about the trailing links. So, will i need to swap out the trailing links with this swap? If i don't need to do so, would I see significant benefit of swapping in 04 STi trailing links or would my stock trailing links with new aftermarket bushings yield similar performance?

What differential setup are you running?

Just has the stock r160 (it is the r160 on 02 wrx's correct?)

Well, I'm not sure what differences exist between the STI arrangement and the WRX Sedan arrangement, but back in the day many people swapped in Sedan links for the OEM wagon links. This got rid of the infamous "taco" link that would easily bend under hard maneuvers. Have you looked at OEM WRX sedan links?

For the lateral links yes I'm getting rid of the taco links and replacing them with STi lateral links. I'm wondering if I should be replacing the trailing arm as well.
Wow, OK. Reading comprehension on my part. I'm not sure. Did you try contacting BigSkyWRX?

I have yet to but I have been reading most of his threads and comprising a database with a bunch of info on the swap. I'll try sending him a PM.
That's probably best. He's the real suspension guru of the group. It's been years since I owned a WRX and many more years since I was considering swapping the latlinks.
