looking to purchase an 02 wrx. want to know what are pros and cons to this vehicle, what issues to look for as far as modification. how much boost can this car hold? is the engine and transmission capable of holding? what are the best mods for the buck?

try not to think of it in terms of how much boost can an engine hold, so much as how much power or torque can the engine/driveline hold. Boost is very subjective because every motor will make power different, plus different size turbos will have a different airflow CFM for the same pressure.
