Been in love with WRX's for years, finally able to get an excellent 2009 of my own :) :) :)

Got some bad news today! Apparently it has 3 very slightly dented rims? WTF other guy who owned it!

Anybody have any insight as to what heavy-duty/rally-type wheels are available to future-proof such slip-ups? Live in Atlanta, so chance of run-ins with curbs and potholes is high.

Thanks!

If you want actual rally wheels they are very strong but be prepared to pay over $250 a wheel new. Also many don't come in sizes larger than 15 inches due to rally tires being predominately 15 inch they may or may not fit over the stock brakes requiring the 4/2 pot set. If you are still considering it heres where to look.

BRAID USA
Team Dynamics Racing
Enkei Wheels - Racing Series Wheels - RC-G4

If you want strength but want to keep the stock brakes look for forged wheels. They are more expensive than cast wheels but usually cheaper than rally wheels however some even cost more. They are available in almost any size you could want, making it easier to find tires and keep the stock brakes, all three of the above manufacturers also make forged wheels but there are many more brands that do as well these are not the end all be all.

Welcome! There are some great roads to drive on north of Atlanta up near Elijay and Dahlonega. I did my extern in Buckhead after culinary school. Whew, there are some good looking ladies in that city:p
