Just picked up my new WRB WRX 5 door and am thinking ahead to winter. Will 16" wheels clear the brakes on these things? My 2005 had 16" wheels and I was curious if the calipers are any bigger for 2012.

I don't want to shell out the cheddar for 17" snows, plus I don't want my wheels mangled every time I have them changed over if I can get 16" wheels and tires that would be better in the snow anyway. Thanks

I run 16" wheels. They fit perfectly.

they def work. I have stock wheels from an 04/05 wrx for my 09 winters. got them real cheap used on nasioc.

Good to know! Now I'm regretting selling the 2 old sets of wheels and tires I had. Didn't think I'd replace my
'08 STi so soon.

They wouldn't fit anyway. Bolt patterns are different on the 08 STI vs the WRX.

^ Oh, wait. Ur right. Forgot about the 5x114.3 or whatever. The ones I sold off my 2005 would have fit though... still regretful, lol.
