Help

I'm not familiar with that modification..
Not familiar with the help mod.

In general no one mod can void the entirety of your warranty. What will happen is it will cause certain things to be denied when a claim is filed.

If you slap on a bunch of bolt one and a tune and blow a piston the chance that is covered under warranty is as close to zero as you can get. However if you have the same modifications and you have a caliper seize up they will likely cover that.

Your service contract shouldn't be effected at all.. as far as the warranty goes, there is a very high likelihood that any major claim dealing with engine failure will be denied because of the Access Port. Things like transmission/differential could potentially be denied since having the car tuned will put more stress on those components than they were designed for. Other warranty claims, like electrical issues, body work, suspension, etc should be fine. Since engine failure is one of, if not the biggest warranty claim that you might need there is some risk involved with installing the Access Port. Whether it's worth it is entirely up to you, but should something happen to the engine I would be prepared to pay out of pocket for repairs.
If you install the AP you CAN put the stock tune in (Zero map) however, (Im speculating) that its still going to look like you tuned the car since as part of the process the AP copies you stock tune, puts something in its place (the zero map or your stock map) and resets the ECU. Even if you just want to monitor the sensors etc via the AP that is still the process. Any coverage of motor trouble would likely be up to your dealer.

With a big claim like an engine they WILL look at the ECU, and they will know it was fooled with. Also, big claims go to SOA for approval these days.. the dealership has little say in the matter.
