okay i'm thinking of getting an aftermarket clutch but was wondering will it void my transmission warranty? i've had trouble with my trans before and i don't want the dealer to void my warranty if i buy this aftermarket clutch.

Yes and no.

They'll probably try though.

An aftermarket clutch may void the drivetrain warranty most of all.

If you fart in this car, SOA will try to void your warranty. It's the simple truth.

Dude, if you put another clutch in there, don't expect any transmission warranty. If you think about it, why should they? That can be seen as the cost of any drivetrain failure.

Also, why would you need one. The OE unit has been proven to hold a LOT of power and good for low 12 second 1/4 mile ET's.

YES YES YES THEY WILL VOID IT....trust me honda did it to me and it cost 1500 to fix... so why would subaru pay that much if not more to repair that? and from the looks of this vehicle i think the tranny in the WRX is far more expensive... why do you wanna change your clutch anyways? are you having problems with it?
