Yeah no the vehicle does not make anything near 1440 horse power :fuu: That would be quite the impressive build. Appreciate it, I am personally happy with the outcome of the car and the steady torque level is a plus.

I started off by leaving the car overnight to release as much pressure from the system as possible. I also kept in mind that I should have less than half a tank of gas before taking the container out.

I had unplug the harness that is coming out of the cover and removed the four Phillips screws.

I cleaned the area free from tools and all dirt that was visible.

Alpine iLX-107 Head Unit

The newest edition to my WRX was installing an amazing head unit by Alpine, "iLX-107". This is an in-dash aftermarket receiver featuring a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with support for both Apple CarPlay and Wireless Apple CarPlay. There are a handful of aftermarket receivers that work with wired Apple CarPlay, but iLX-107 is the only model that works wirelessly (As of September 2017).

In order to install a unit like this I had to purchase two additional addons to make the steering wheel controls work, and by pass on the e-brake.

1. Microbypass (Universal Trigger AX-MTR)
2. Steering Wheel control unit (Universal Fit ASWC-1)

This is a wide view from the back seats. I think it looks amazing and adds such an upgraded touch to your WRX.

About to order myself a Kartboy Short Shifter and Bushing Combo for Subaru Models (inc. 2008-2014 WRX / 2005-2009 Legacy GT)

Will be a nice addition to the car since I have read online that the throws are allot smoother and have a mechanical feel to it.

Kartboy Short Shifter/Nebula w/ Teal Sphere Knob

So I understand that any short shifter will completely replace my factory shifter mechanism, and will also restore any excessive shifter movement due to tired or worn out shifter bushings. I have been looking into different manufactures like COBB, Perrin, and Kartboy; which personally I am leaning more towards the Kartboy brand just for this particular product............

So I installed a Kartboy Short Shifter into my WRX two weekends ago. Honestly love the hight on this model since its not too deep but shorter than stock. I changed out my shift knob to a custom sphere by Billetworkz

Cruising on a Beautiful Day

Update: Current Status and Future Goals

So yesterday on 05/27/2019, we were blessed with some decent 80 degree weather in New England, so a buddy of mine suggested we spend the day cruising. Was able to travel almost 250 miles around the Berkshires that contained all different types of views.

I have decided that over the next year I will be focusing on the following upgrades for the WRX.

1. Grimmspeed TMIC August 10th
2. New OEM Front Head Lights
3. Custom KBCustom Subaru Emblem
4. New Michelin as3 tires
5. RokBlokz Mud Flaps To Replace my Rally Armor
6. New Wheels TBD

It has been awhile since I have posted about my Subaru...

Current Update: At the time of this post I currently still own the vehicle but sadly am in the process of selling the vehicle. It is my second vehicle and is becoming difficult to keep in good condition living in New England without the extra garage space to store it year round; Not to mention Taxxachusetts makes it difficult for me to get the yearly car inspection without paying major out of pocket / switching back to stock.

Wanted to share some photos since my last post. I have Eneki NT03s with Michelin AS3s which have been a lot of fun. I also installed a Tomei Expreme Ti which is SUPER loud

I have transitioned myself over to a New 2018 Porsche S which has been a great ride since purchase. It has been a lot of fun with the Subaru Platform and it will not be my last time owning a Subaru.
