So many people dislike it but to be honest your the one that pays the bill on that car. Your taste are different than mine. The way i see it, you can put anything you want on your car as long as it looks pleasant. If you install a widebody kit that is not installed properly and looks janky then i'll say "keep moving forward" but if you install widebody and it looks well done plus some nice wheels, etc. Then that will be a bad ass ride!Call me crazy but the oppurtunity to widebody my daily 2017 wrx has come up. Please bash on me if its a horrible idea! thank you![]()
The term wide body is not used properly. What this person was referring to is fender flares. They are completely pointless, damage the body panels, and serve no function beside allowing typically unsafe wheel and tire combos. So many people dislike it but to be honest your the one that pays the bill on that car. I think it's a good idea if you going for the look, it give out just a little bit of torque tho. If you want yours to look way better than everyone else's then go for it

I've seen armies of fender flares. That is not a wide body. That's bodywork by Rubbermaid.
