Wheel Fitment

Hi guys, need some answers here. My 2015 STI stock wheel fitment is 18x8.5 +55 offset. I am interested in a set of wheels that are still 18x8.5 but +35 offset. Am I good to go or will I have any issues? Or should I stick to an offset closer to 55?

Go with wheels that are close to OEM offset.

I am running 18 x 9.5 +38 offset no issues. Definitely got an alignment afterwards though

Always. Unless it is a show car and does not see real day to day driving.

Your experience is with completely different wheel measurements and not portable to this situation.

Could spacers help the OP use his intended wheels? I'm in the same boat.

I own a 2015 WRX (17x8", +55mm). But I want to buy some 2005 STI stock BBS wheels (17x8", +53mm) but there is a -2mm difference. Would +2mm spacers be needed? Thanks in advance.
Unless I misunderstood the spacers you propose would alter the offset the wrong way. In any case I'd rather take an Uber than use spacers. Ask around to see whether the wheels you want to buy fit as-is or not. If they don't, don't try.

You will be fine with the BBS wheels.
