Wheel fitment.

Hi all,
I want to run a wider wheel set up on my 2016 wrx. The wheels I was thinking about running were enkie rpf1s with demensions of 18x9.5 +38mm. They are one subispeed and they claim that they will fit with coils and no fender rolling, however I wanted some other opinios before I drop a lot of money on wheels that might not fit. For tires I was thinking about running either 245/35/18 or 255/35/18 but any recommendations on tirese size is appriciated. Thanks in advance for the help!

I can't say for sure. but I'm currently running 18x9.5 +35 with no drop on 255/40r18 tires (for a little extra meat since no drop.

i am pretty sure that you would be able to do a minor drop on some thinner tires, like a 265/35 tire. i haven't had any issues with mine on the meatier rubber with stock suspension. Hopefully someone who has actually done this can chime in though

made this yesterday for another member, i guess i'll post it in here. before and after from stock rubber to aftermarket wheels/rubber on stock suspension.

so 245s or 255s should be good. I'm going to get rims with the same measurements as yours but with 255s. I was talking to a guy that has the rim size (18x9.5)but he had 265s with no drop in ride height and said he was rubbing the inside of the fender lining when the wheel was fully turned. if you want more meat on your wheels id say safely 255s all around.
I have the WedsSport SA20Rs which is 18x9.5 +38mm and I'm running 255/35/18 tires. No rubbing, the car is not lowered yet, but from what I can tell the fenders look like they'll need to be rolled if I lower the car.
I have some 18x9 +35 Enkei RCT4 for sale that would fit great

Thank you all for the replies. Ill try 255s and if they don't work then ill accept the fact ill have to roll my fenders. The guys over a subispeed got back to me recently and said that 18x9.5 +38 with 255/35/18 will fit with a slight drop on coils. Btw those wheels look really good with the blue.
