Here is what I am looking to see thoughts on for my satin white WRX 5 door.

Currently have flat black torques but now have the opportunity to swap them out for possibly a GOLD set of torques.

possibly bronze if available as well, but I know the Gold ones are a choice that is available. I have not asked about the Bronze yet.

black OZ ultraleggeras.

I wont move to another black wheel since I already have the torques in flat black. The OZ's look very similar in design to the torques.

Ok gold or silver Oz's then.

Of interest:

Rota torque

17x7=18lbs
17x7.5=18.8lbs
17x8=19lbs
18x8=20 lbs

Oz ultraleggera

17x7= 16 lbs
17x8= 16.7lbs
18x7=17.6 lbs
18x8=18.6 lbs

That'll make a difference at the dragon.

I would choose the lightest wheel possible that fit my budget.

Good info.

I dont really blitz through the dragon much any more so a little weight savings wont make that big difference like it would if i did a bunch of track days. It is about having fun driving it, not going 100mph out of control like some idiots try to do. There are only a couple of places there you MIGHT get to 65 or so and it is only for 2 or 3 seconds before you start braking for the end of that short straight. most of the dragon is in 2nd gear.
