Hypertech is offering now a new model Tuner for the 2009-2011 Subaru Impreza WRX and soon to have it for the STI model. Its a simple plug in, flash and gain power type of unit. It works very similarly to the COBB Accessport and if you purchase it from us, you would be saving $145 in comparison.

They had one of these on Spike TV Powerblock not too long ago; I missed the episode.

I think I'll stay with OpenECU, but this definitely makes the tuning game more interesting.

So I have a few questions - I'll be getting an AP this spring and was wondering if you could outline the features this has, I went to the website and couldn't find much about what kind of features besides just what mods it worked with, I have a CBE (SPT) and that's it right now, I was looking to go stage 1. I know the Cobb AP has things like launch control and other features (performance monitoring). So has anyone installed one of these Hypertechs? I probably won't get a custom tune (no shops within a 4 hour drive) so I'd just need to be able to upgrade the map if I decide to go stage 2 later. Thanks!
