Upgrades

I have a 2016 WRX. l am currently pushing 360WHP. However I want to be between 400-410WHP (MAX). Transmission is stock, Engine is stock, and so on. I already know what I need to have done to the engine. I am however in need of assistance of wether or not the stock trans is okay with that amount of hp, and tq. (I think it might be okay), but should I just upgrade the gear box, or just swap it out with an STI transmission? Also what other things do I need to look into upgrading? Drivetrain I'm thinking, but I don't know which one. My heads kinda all over the place on this to be honest, and don't know where to begin. (Yeah yeah why don't I just get an STI, or a V8, etc etc. Its because I wanted the WRX. If I wanted a different car I would have gotten a different car, but this is the car I chose because I wanted it.)

So any input from people that have this done is much appreciated, and thanks for the help in advance.

You know what's a better buy? Buying a car that has 410whp stock. Probably cheaper too.
If you are OK with spending $10k+ to repair the vehicle as things break, by all means. Is that additional 50whp worth the risk? Only you can make that decision.

With regards to your original question, the transmission may break or it may not. None of us can give you a concrete answer. What I CAN tell you is that the risk of components failing increases with modifications.
