Not shielding a “twin turbo” but twin shields ON a turbo. Seeing the different types of wrap style and molded stainless steel shields I was wondering if anyone ran BOTH and noticed a significantly cooler engine bay.
I’m new to the Subaru world. And I have lots of questions. Some may be dumb, but I never really cared about looking dumb. My wife will attest to that. 😏
If anyone is going to ask me why would I want or need both I can only answer, “because moar cooler??”

Yes, I ran a Turbo Blanket under an aftermarket heat shield on my old Bugeye.

I think the underhood temps are less critical than keeping the heat where it needs to be -- in the exhaust. Maintaining exhaust gas temps is critical to spool and backpressure.

Make sure your Uppipe is equally shielded.

Before the turbo, connects the turbo to the exhaust manifold.
