just put in the unichip 2 days ago. man what a difference. this upgade is worth it. the only other chip i looked at was the one by cobb. i did not trust anyone in va to tune their chip also the turboxs chip plugs right into the factory ecu no splicing of wires.
easy to unplug if you have to go into the dealer for any problems. easy install a friend an i did it in about 45min. great product and great service at turboxs.

yes i have just the chip and a MBC. i did not get the exhaust. it is only good for another 5 or so hp so the extra noise was not worth the hp to me. but turboxs dose have a nice sounding exhaust for the money. if i was to get a muffler latter on i would probly get the turboxs. next weekend i will probly put the downpipe and high flow cat on from turboxs.

why do you have a MBC along with the TXS chip. i was under the impression that the chip raised the boost levels among other things. So i guess the question is...What exactly does the chip change??

I'm w/Snow on this one...

I thought the chip increased boost? What do you need the MBC for?

A: Here is our system in a nutshell
1. Plug and play harness for 2002 Subaru WRX

A. OEM connectors ensure quality and proper connection

No cutting of the factory wire harness

B. Built in fuel cut defender

Raises fuel cut to 20.5 psi from around 18psi

Raises over-boost protection without eliminating it entirely

C. Built in part throttle boost controller (<=30%) limited to 7psi

Protection from high boost when factory ecu runs in closed loop @ 14.7:1 air
fuel ratios. Factory boost level is 7psi and when using aftermarket boost
controllers, full boost can be reached at partial throttle resulting in high
exhaust gas temperatures and lean run conditions.

D. Built in electronic boost control driver

No additional boost controllers required

2. Utilizes Dastek's Unichip piggyback computer

A. TurboXS tunes the air fuel ratios, timing, and boost levels

Tuned on our in-house AWD Dynapack Dyno

B. Can be tuned by any Unichip tuner

3. Auxiliary manual boost controller provided allows user to increase or
decrease the preset boost curve

Works in conjunction with the factory electronic boost control
provided to me by phil at turboxs/

I guess i do not fully understand this. you do not need a BC to go along with the chip. What are the pros and cons of having a BC along w/ a chip.

Stage 2 with MBC

So it looks like the stage 2 has an ABC? That's well and good, but how does throwing on the MBC help?

It helps so that you have the ability to adjust the booste... YOURSELF!! and do not have to go down to turboXS everytime u want to change your booste :)

No... your previous post did help. I wasn't being sarcastic at all.

Thanks again...
