Hello, I had a brand new Turbo XS TB exhaust installed last May on my 07 WRX TR , I've noticed over the last few months it has gotten louder. I don't think there is an exhaust leak, I can't detect anything besides the outlet. Is this normal? When I got it, it was a little louder than I was hoping for, but like I said it definitely has gotten louder. Any insight is welcome. It does have a Cobb tuner on it so it wasn't running too lean or anything that could have damaged the system.

It wouldn't be unheard of...
I had my daughter rev it, and it is loud as hell, and then something like a piece of paper getting stuck on the back of a fan came from inside the muffler and it quieted down a bunch. I think a baffle or something became dislodged from inside of it. I have a Maddad whisper on order as I wanted a quieter one anyways. It just sucks because it almost sounds like a straight pipe right now.

So are you putting your system up for sale?
I was planning on selling the axle back muffler as that is all I am replacing. Seriously though, I think it is broken on the inside.
