Isn't the intake easy to do on site? Why install both if you don't have to? In fact, why install either if you don't have to? Won't the shop just do it? You'll have the wrong map.
Tuning
I'm installing my intake and downpipe Saturday and I have to drive about an hour and half to the tuning shop. Would I run into any major complications?

I would have it installed at the shop or contact them about having a base map sent to you for the drive there

You want a base map to get you to the shop. Something with rough MAF scaling based on vehicles using that intake in the past.
