I’ve been trying to figure out which of the cold air intakes I am going to purchase and I’m very new to the car modification scene and I’m wondering which is the best route to go with, AEM, Perrin, K&N, or other brands. If you are leaving a suggestion can you give me some more info on them. If you don’t have a specific suggestion can you give me some resources to see what would prove most beneficial

I'd opt for the Cobb intake because their off the shelf tune for it with the AP will be the best value for quality route. Also it's accepted as reliable.

You have to have a tune so factor that in. Most places require the AP so you'll be buying that either way. Then add in the cost of a tune from most places at 500 give or take the Cobb option saves a lot of money

Stock.

Stock intake system are good for like 300+ on the VA chassis (I don't remember the exact number)

If you NEED to have an aftermarket one, Cobb is the best bet, or Grimmspeed, both are highly rated.
