Hi guys! I am on the hunt for a new car. The STI is a great car. What I am curious about is what it would realisticly take to make this a 400-450 hp car? What type of mods wuold it take(in layman terms) and how much would someone have to spend to get it there? Any advice would sure be helpful. Thanks!!:)

400 crank horse power can happen on pump gas. quickest way.

STi UTEC ~$1000
Forced Performance Green turbo $~1300 (give or take $200)
turbo-xs exhaust ~$1100
larger injectors ~800cc ~$??? no more than $500 i would think
turbo-xs intake $200?
tuning $100/per hour probably

that should put you at 350whp that's what turbo-xs did recently. made over 400whp with race gas

400whp is easily possible with that set up... if all you want is 400crank hp then a utec and downpipe might be enough to claim that.... as that will allow you to max out the stock fuel system.

I just hit 391 whp with:
a 20g turbo and all thesupporting mods on 91 oct. So 400-450 whp is not hard to achieve at all
