Today the Toronto Subaru Club (TSC) set a North American record for the largest turnout at a Subaru meet with a total of 108 cars. We met up for the afternoon as the last meet of 2002. We had a BBQ, Show n' shine competition and an overall awesome time!
I heard the record was held somewhere in New England at 100 cars so we topped that number!

Largest meet ever for the Toronto-Subaru-Club.

The meet took place today, Sunday October 27, 2002. This was the last "Pre-snow" meet for the TSC. The venue was held at our sponsor dealership Marino's Fine Cars, a Subaru / Hyundai / Honda / Rover dealership located in the south west corner of Toronto.

The day started off with out of town gatherings, collecting all the participants from all over the city. Scarborough Town Centre was the site of the eastern group, Dave & Busters, was the site for the northern group, and Mississauga Square 1 for the western group. All the groups congregated at Sherway gardens (3Km from the venue) to approach the dealership in 1 large procession which stretched as far as the eye can see.

The organizers arrived at the venue at around 11:30 in the afternoon to setup shop, the first members arrived around 12:30 and the Huuuuuuuuuge procession drove in and kept on driving in from 12:55 - 1:40 in the afternoon.
