What should I get with xxx amount of dollars, lol.

But really, I know theres many of these threads, but it is kind of a vehicle specific thing. Anywho, I have a gramma that always gets me something for Christmas for around 300 bux, actually she lets me use her CC and I just get it sent to her house so she can wrap it Before any suggestions are made, my mods are in my sig, plus some cf bits/exterior bits/gauges blah blah blah......

I'm not looking for anything that would cause me to get tuned for it because my setup is pretty fresh, but more power is always appreciated.

My personal wishlist includes the P&L EWG kit (fits my dp) and some perty 18x9 sexy wheels, both are not feasible right now.

So I'm trying to think what I should get and harnesses crossed my mind. Some green Takitas or whatever the f*** their called, but keep in mind I am not an autox'er. I basically use my car for drag racing or street racing but my goal is to be a track racer (big track, not gay cone racing)

I was also thinking maybe a lightweight battery and some hellas or maybe a brake pad/lines and sways....?

So what would you get with around a 300 budget with the mods listed in sig. Keep in mind i also have a few things not listed.

Oh yeah, what about lightweight seats? Forge bov? 300 worth of VP103 and meth? or pulleys and grounding kit?

All comments welcome

Brakes and Tires should always be upgraded along with the car. What about engine/trans mounts?

I normally agree with this, however the Brakes and tires that come on the STi are already good from the factory. Even at 400HP, the tires will hold. Maybe some stainless steel brake lines.

Swaybars and End links are the way to go this round.

Nice suggestion, but I dont think that my brakes or suspension are under par for what I use my car for...

Yes, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System - while it isn't going to make your car faster, it is a very useful thing to have. My 350Z has it stock, and I'm probably going to add an aftermarket TPMS to my WRX next year.

Ensuring tires are properly inflated has it's benefits. Also it's nice to be able to detect a leak early as compared to late. It's the difference between dealing with something when you can make the time vs needing to make the time to deal with a flat tire.

My ears, eyes, butt and spare tire and jack make a fine TPMS, if I was to blow money on a electronic monitorin system it would be a radar detector or more importantly a remote start ( my car HATES cold starts, fact of life with TGV deletes) no need for a dummy light on tire pressures.

I've had no problem with cold starts since my TGV delete. :sadwave:

What's that all about? AFAIK the purpose of the TGV system is for emissions on cold start.

Get a good radar detector. I have the Escort Solo S2 because I like the freedom to move it between cars and not having to deal with a cable. I keep a few sets of rechargable AA batteries in both cars center consoles just in case a set starts to run low. I usually get about 3 weeks and I'm using the 15 minute rechargeable type batteries.

It hangs at about 1500 for about 6 minutes before its warmed up enough to drop to 1K, and if I try to drive it early it slaps me in the face:eek:

Oddness - and annoying too. Yeah, I guess either figure out what the problem is there, or use it as an excuse to pick up an alarm with remote start. Just get into the habit of not leaving the car in gear if you go this route - I've watched friends and co-workers of mine remote start their car while in gear - it's not pretty for them. It's mildly entertaining to me though.

with your cold starting problem, i'm gonna say that getting a remote start system will probably make it a whole lot more convenient. but performance-wise, brake upgrades might be the best choice (especially with your power levels)?

does anybody know how project mu pads are? i long for a sexxxxy turqoise-bluegreen Project Mu big brake kit :D

Well if you are interested I have a 27mm Whiteline F swaybar and a 24mm R swaybar that I just took off. I will also have up for sale shortly a set of RCE camber plates and JDM STi pink springs.

For fun you can do a c02 sprayer. Audio? speakers, amps, sub? You can get an electronic exhaust cut out.
