sorry to ask such a dumbass Q but i never get the chance to look at both my gauges when im hammering the gas....so what are the top speeds in each gear???? im never realy sure when is a safe speed to down shift

From a 7k rpm shift:
1st gear around 35 mph
2nd gear 60 mph
3rd gear 90 mph?
4th gear 120 mph (from what I heard, dunno though)
5th gear I don't know.

That's the theoretical top speed based on gearing. In the real world the car won't go that fast because:

1. It doesn't have enough power
2. It is boost-limited to 148 in it's stock form

These numbers, of course assume stock Tire/wheels as well. Larger diameter would increase these numbers slightly.
