TireRack Link supports ClubWRX (Updated January 2008) with latest specials!

Hey guys. We reference the TireRack a lot in these forums. In addition to being a great company to deal with, the TireRack is a supporter of ClubWRX.net and sponsor of the Suspension and Handling forum. You'll notice that on the main ClubWRX.net forum page there is a link to the TireRack in the Suspension and Handling forum description. (where it says Sponsored By: The Tire Rack ) This link tells the TireRack that you are coming from ClubWRX so that they know their sponsorship is paying off.

When accessing TireRack please try to remember to use the link. Here it is replicated for your convenience:

The Tire Rack

Of course, you can also click on their banner ad when it pops up at the top of the page.

Thanks,

Chris

Okay, let me set this story up right.

For a month I was deciding on which tires I was going to get for my rims. I finally decided I wanted to get the S-03s, so that's what I was determined to find. I originally was going to get a "Special Friend" card that works at bridgestone stores, it makes me pay retail + 10% for the tires....Which to me is a REALLY good deal! So I went to the firestone/bridgestone store to get a quote, and they quoted me 289/tire cus of "markup" (without discount)...  So then I whipped out the card, and they quoted me 178.86 per tire. So with the discount, PLUS TAX, PLUS other crap it came out to ~$850. So after cancelling the order from tirerack that morning (cus i thought I wasn't going to be getting the card--long story), I went home and ordered them from tirerack again.

Tirerack's prices WERE CHEAPER THAN WHAT I WOULD HAVE PAID AT THE STORE!!! PLUS, I don't have to pay tax online, so I saved $100...as opposed to using the discount card.

Okay, so today, the much anticipated tires arrived...and guess what...3 days early!!! They said I wouldn't get them till tuesday, but looky what I got here! :D :D :p

225/40/18 -

I can't say enough about the GREAT service, prices, and website Tirerack has. If you're gonna buy tires, go to tirerack. They're the best place to buy tires online, and at home. Just do some shopping around, and you'll soon see what I mean!

Hope this influences you to go to tirerack! Thanks Tirerack!!

I have purchased wheels and tires from tire rack before but their selection of tires really isnt all that awesome

they dont sell Falken's at all, and since im an Azenis nut that leaves that out, they also dont sell my Semeperit Sport Grip snow tires either

As you can tell from my recent post, I was initially VERY DISSAPOINTED with the service I got form TireRack.

http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43602

But after the call I got from Tim, I was surprised that they folowed up on a dis-satisfied customer and even gave me a $50 discount plus a future discount on tires.

I will go back for Yoko's ES-100 17", but hopefully this time the service and item will be better :)

To me that's REAL customer service. You can never give customers 100% satisfaction. There will always be situations that arise when a customer goes away disapointed/angry. But if you can follow up and make it right, that's really something.

I'm going to be buying wheels and tires here in a few months, and i've been really impressed with the amount of information on the website. I also like the large photo's etc.

My main concern is you don't carry any enkei wheels as far as i saw. If you can order them at a decent price, let me know and ill be more than happy to go with you guys when i make the purchase.

Tire Rack is cool for 04 and earlyer...they need to update their site so that the 05 has 5x114.3 bolt pattern...don't be fooled, if you have an '05 the Tire Rack's suggestions for it will not fit.

This has been my sole reason fro shopping elsewhere. Also, they do not seem to let you pick your tires size in a wheel/tire package. I'm sorry, but if I am dropping all that money on wheels and tires, I want the wheel to be wrapped in the rubber I want, in the size I want.

i have a question for the experts at tirerack.
will OZ superlegger 18x7 in 35mm offset fit a 05 wrx?
I think that you need a more positive offset. My Prodrive PFF 18x8 hat an offset of 48mm I think. I could be wrong, but I don't think your offset is enough. Of course I am not an expert from Tirerack soooo...
