I have a 2016 WRX and I have just drained my oil, and now realized that the oil filter that Subispeed sent me was OEM short blue oil filter. It says on the website that it's compatible with the 2015+ WRX, but is definitely much smaller than the dark green one.

Has anyone used this short blue filter on their 2015+ WRX?

Ive never seen a dark green one. The short blue ones should work just fine.

Ok. So so the original is black ( SOA8AA170). And the OEM Short Blue oil filter is 15208AA12A

It's very small compared to the others. See picture.
