What's up guys. Well I made the jump
to Subaru from VW. Traded in my R32 for a 2018 STI Limited literally less then 36 hrs ago. Super pumped this car is awesome already and so much fun to drive. My two kids love the car and fit perfectly even with two car seats. I wanted to make my first post to the Newbie Hang out. Hope to see you guys around.

Welcome aboard. Hope you like the car. Keep in mind power doesn't roll in as easily and cheaply as it will on some of the VW cars. So if you modify take your time, research what you are buying, and you may have to reel in an expectation or two.

The cars are a blast, the new gen is far more comfortable too.

That looks super cool with the black accents, rims and brakes. Envious!

I'm typically not a fan of neutering the wing off of a STI, but DAMN! With the red color and bigger wheels it really seems like it works well with your car. She's a looker.

Congrats! Thanks for the pic, I've been trying to find pics of what a new STI looks like in Red, with those new brake calipers. Love it!

Thank you. I appreciate it.

I am doing a proper breaking but I have to say it's very hard to do. I just want to rip it but a proper break in is a must

Yeah seriously, just WOW. The pure red STI with those wheels and brakes fire! Very nice man. Get some paint protection film or do a ceramic coating (or both!) to keep her looking new.

Welcome to the forums! The car looks very sharp and I am totally jealous of the new STi you picked up. Any ideas on the future plans for the vehicle or will you keep it stock?
I plan on flashing, intake, coils and possibly new wheels. Any intake and DV suggestions? I have small things coming now like plate relocating bracket and sti plate filler
