The va outsold the gr handily, and it's because people tell themselves one thing to make face with others.
The 2022 came out and everyone acted like it was going to be trash and sales would fall flat. The GR Corolla argument reminds me of when the Focus RS came out and everyone said it would destroy STI sales. Welp... turns out people like center consoles, leg room, no markup, and and the ability to purchase a car without being on an indefinite wait list. Who would have thought those concepts would stack up against track times or dyno numbers for the average buyer?...
